Meet the Coaches

Ashley Gudgeon

Ashley competed at state level in athletics (100m, 200m and hurdles) as a junior. Away from Athletics, he enjoyed playing many sports included AFL, Futsal and Basketball at various competitive levels.

Track and field has been an important part of Ashley’s life. His father was a track coach and they spent many days training or competing. Ashley trained alongside talented athletes in his early years, including athletes who competed at the Commonwealth Games and World Championships. Experiencing this elite environment with high level athletes has helped him gain experience in the implementation of speed programming and the training required to produce high level performances. Supporting these experiences, Ashley uses his training as an Osteopath to help inform his evidence-based approach to speed training.
